Brayman Construction is a Pittsburgh‑area heavy civil and geotechnical contractor known for complex infrastructure work—large bridges, deep foundations, dams, marine construction, and steel erection. Founded in 1947 as a small family business, it has grown into a nationally recognized builder serving public and private clients across multiple markets. Guided by core values of equity, urgency, tenacity, and professionalism, Brayman combines self‑perform capabilities and specialized affiliates to deliver challenging projects safely and reliably.
Website
For Brayman Construction, I led the redesign of their website into a clean, modern experience that better reflects a heavy civil contractor and its clients. The previous site was dated, thin on content, and difficult to navigate, so I rebuilt the UI/UX around clear hierarchy, straightforward page structures, and on-brand visual language. Subtle structural elements—like vertical line motifs that reference rebar and architectural drawings—help tie the interface back to the construction industry while staying consistent with Brayman’s color palette and photography style.
A major focus was the projects portfolio. I replaced the old, cramped filtering with a full-width filter panel that lets users quickly narrow projects by client type, market, location, and capabilities, making the depth of their work much easier to explore. Each project detail page surfaces key facts at a glance, pairs them with large project imagery, and includes a related-projects slider so users can quickly jump to similar work in the same region or specialty. I also structured all projects and news in Webflow’s CMS so the Brayman team can add and update content themselves—no design or development dependency—keeping the site fresh while preserving a consistent, well-organized presentation of their work.
