Beverly’s PGH is a Pittsburgh-area nonprofit dedicated to celebrating and supporting children and families through three core divisions: Birthdays, Babies, and Basics. Launched after founder Megs Yunn met a young girl who’d never had a birthday party or her own cake, the organization now partners with 150+ agencies and schools to provide birthday celebrations, baby essentials, and everyday necessities—plus the region’s first public infant formula bank. From group parties and classroom celebrations to basic needs support, Beverly’s PGH focuses on dignity, joy, and practical help so families feel seen, valued, and backed by their community.
Website
For Beverly’s PGH, I partnered with another designer to completely rethink their website so it better reflects the impact of their work and makes it much easier to engage with their programs. The old site made it hard to understand their offerings and how to help, so we rebuilt the experience around the “3 B’s” — Babies, Birthdays, and Basics — using a bright, playful color palette to visually separate each program while keeping everything on-brand. Clear navigation, storytelling, and CTAs guide users toward donating, volunteering, or accessing services. I also implemented a Formula Bank map using the Storepoint API so families and partners can quickly find locations for essential supplies.
Beyond the marketing site, I designed and built custom Webflow-based web applications to streamline giving. The “Birthday Buddies” experience houses 1,000+ kids and their birthdays; donors step through a fun, guided form to find three children who share their birthday, then select a match and complete a donation using Webflow’s native ecommerce. I also created a Build A Box flow where users can assemble donations by choosing curated items for Babies, Birthdays, and Basics, again powered by Webflow ecommerce. Together, these tools turn a complex set of programs into an intuitive, joyful giving experience that’s easy to manage without ongoing development support.
